Job Title: Head of ICT
Location: Benin City, Edo

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Summary
The Head of ICT will be responsible for managing the hospital's ICT operations, infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and technical support services.
The role will ensure that technology effectively supports clinical, administrative, and operational activities of the hospital.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the hospital's ICT strategy, policies, and procedures.
Manage the hospital's network, servers, internet, hardware, software, and other ICT infrastructure.
Oversee the Hospital Management/Information System and ensure optimal system performance.
Provide timely technical support to all departments and resolve ICT-related issues.
Manage user accounts, access controls, data security, backups, and disaster recovery.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of patient, staff, financial, and hospital information.
Supervise and manage ICT staff, including performance monitoring and development.
Manage ICT vendors, service providers, licences, subscriptions, and maintenance contracts.
Oversee CCTV, biometric attendance, access-control, and other technology-based systems.
Prepare ICT reports and advise Management on technology needs, risks, and improvements.
Ensure compliance with applicable ICT, cybersecurity, and data protection requirements.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant ICT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is an advantage.
Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, or cybersecurity certifications will be an advantage.
