Job Title: Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager

Locations: Lagos & Abuja (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview

The Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager is a commercially critical role responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing capital from High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), family offices, and private investors to fund manufacturing and real-sector investment opportunities. This is not a passive relationship management role, it is a deal-closing function. The role holder is expected to convert investor conversations into committed capital within defined timelines, while building a long-term investor base that supports the firm's broader investment strategy. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of capital markets, investor psychology, and commercial execution, ensuring that every engagement progresses toward a clear funding outcome.

Key Responsibilities
Capital Raising & Deal Closure:

Source and secure capital from HNIs, family offices, and private investors across local and international markets, including the GCC. Present structured investment opportunities including equity, debt, commercial papers, direct lending, and Islamic financing. Drive investor conversations from introduction through commitment and fund deployment. Maintain a clear pipeline of active investor discussions with defined timelines and expected close values.

Investor Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional communication. Build and maintain long-term investor relationships that lead to repeat investments. Provide structured updates on investment performance and portfolio developments.

Deal Structuring & Execution Support:

Work closely with internal teams to structure investment opportunities aligned with investor expectations. Support due diligence processes, financial modelling inputs, and investment documentation. Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless deal execution.

Market Positioning & Network Development:

Actively build presence within investor ecosystems, including HNI networks, private wealth circles, and investment forums. Develop and maintain a strong personal pipeline of qualified investors. Represent the firm in high-level investor engagements and strategic conversations.

Performance Expectations

Performance will be measured based on:

Capital raised within the first 30–90 days. Number and quality of HNIs and family offices onboarded. Conversion rate from investor engagement to committed capital. Repeat investment and investor retention levels. Strength, quality, and visibility of the investor pipeline. Timely conversion of qualified opportunities into funded transactions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Proven ability to close high-value investment deals under time pressure. Strong existing network of HNIs, family offices, or private investors. Deep understanding of investment products and structuring. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. Strong commercial judgment and execution discipline. Ability to independently manage a high-value fundraising pipeline.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in  Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. 5–10 years experience in investor relations, private banking, wealth management, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields. Demonstrated track record of raising capital from HNIs, family offices, or private investors. MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits
