Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to support its legal operations.
The successful candidate will assist in legal research, drafting of legal documents, case preparation, and general legal advisory services while ensuring compliance with Nigerian laws and industry regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct legal research on Nigerian laws, regulations, and case precedents relevant to Oil & Gas practice and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, agreements, opinions, and briefs
Assist in case preparation, filings, and court processes
Support senior lawyers in litigation, negotiations, and client advisory matters
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures
Liaise with courts, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders as required
Maintain accurate legal records, files, and documentation
Meet assigned deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and called to the Nigerian Bar
Minimum of 2 years post-call experience
Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws, legal procedures, and court processes
Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
SalaryN150,000 monthly.
