We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Manager to oversee the company’s logistics, transportation, dispatch, inventory movement, and delivery operations. The successful candidate will ensure that goods, materials, and personnel are moved efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining excellent delivery standards.

Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily logistics and transportation operations. Manage deliveries, dispatch riders, drivers, vehicles, and logistics vendors. Develop efficient delivery routes and schedules to minimize delays and transportation costs. Monitor the movement of goods from warehouses to customers, branches, or other locations. Ensure timely delivery of products and materials. Track vehicle and driver activities and maintain accurate logistics records. Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, fuel usage, and documentation. Manage logistics-related expenses and ensure proper cost control. Liaise with suppliers, customers, drivers, warehouse teams, and other departments. Ensure proper handling, loading, transportation, and delivery of goods. Resolve delivery issues, customer complaints, delays, and logistics challenges promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, vehicle usage, and logistics expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards. Evaluate logistics performance and prepare regular operational reports for management. Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce operational costs. Supervise and evaluate logistics staff, drivers, dispatch riders, and other relevant personnel.

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain operations. Proven experience managing drivers, dispatch riders, vehicles, or third-party logistics providers. Good knowledge of Lagos routes and transportation operations is an advantage. Strong knowledge of logistics planning, inventory movement, and delivery coordination. Ability to manage multiple deliveries and priorities simultaneously. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other logistics/ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong leadership and team-management abilities. Must be proactive, responsible, and highly organized.
