Job Title: Logistics Officer
Location: Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Functional Area: Supply Chain
Responsibilities
Base operations coordination.
Inbound and outbound goods validations and revalidations.
Timely dispatch of validated goods.
Form M and PAAR processing.
Adherence to supply chain processes and procedures
Weekly logistics reporting.
Liaising with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
Coordinating port operations in collaboration with clearing agents.
Planning & Coordinating skills, including shipment scheduling, resource allocation, route optimization, and contingency planning.
Understanding of the entire logistics process, from sourcing to warehousing and delivery.
Risk and compliance management: Knowledge of import/export legislation and safety compliance issues.
Oilfield materials management, including OCTG handling and storage.
Coordinating transportation, delivery and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Person Specification
University Degree
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
Ideal candidate: Honest and hardworking, confident with good social skills, team player, resourceful, energetic, agile learner, detail-oriented.
Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.
Required Competencies:Knowledge of transportation management is necessary for ensuring efficient movement of goods.
Understanding and adhering to regulations related to global trade is required for international operations.
Problem Solving skills, ability to quickly identify, analyse and resolve issues that arise in logistics operations.
Effective Communication skills
Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills, attention to detail
