The Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the Company's marketing function, with primary responsibility for driving brand growth, market penetration, sales performance, product visibility and sustainable business development, with emphasis on presentations. The successful candidate will develop and execute effective pharmaceutical marketing strategies, lead the marketing team, strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and trade partners, identify new market opportunities, and ensure that the Company's products achieve their commercial potential.

A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biological/Life Sciences or another relevant discipline. A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing, with demonstrable experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Proven experience in pharmaceutical brand management, product marketing and market development. Demonstrable experience in achieving sales, marketing and business-growth targets. Strong knowledge of the Nigerian pharmaceutical market, including pharmaceutical distribution channels, wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals and healthcare professionals. Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to build, motivate and manage a high-performing marketing team. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Strong commercial awareness and business-development capability. Ability to analyse sales figures, market data, competitor activities and customer feedback and translate findings into actionable strategies. Good knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing regulations and ethical marketing practices in Nigeria, including familiarity with relevant NAFDAC and PCN requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability and willingness to travel within Nigeria as may be required by the position. High level of integrity, professionalism, accountability and commitment to achieving results.

Added Advantage:

B.Pharm/PharmD qualification and current professional registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN). MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. Previous experience managing multiple pharmaceutical brands. Experience in product launches and pharmaceutical brand development. Established professional relationships within the Nigerian pharmaceutical market. Experience managing Medical Representatives/Sales Representatives across multiple territories. Experience with pharmaceutical distributors, wholesalers and major drug markets. A valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake frequent field travel.
