Main Functions
A leading steel manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Rewinder to join its maintenance team.
Key ResponsibilitiesRewind and repair AC and DC motors and other rotating electrical equipment.
Diagnose electrical and winding faults.
Carry out motor dismantling, inspection, rewinding, assembly, and testing.
Perform coil winding, insulation, varnishing, and related activities.
Conduct electrical tests to ensure motors meet required specifications.
Maintain proper records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Follow all safety procedures and industrial maintenance standards.
RequirementsOND/HND or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Motor Rewinder, preferably in a steel manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
Practical knowledge of motor winding, insulation, and electrical testing.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
