Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. About The Role

Seeking a curious, eager to learn professional to kickstart their recruitment career by mastering the "engine room" of our hiring processes and driving a world-class candidate experience.


Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: You will execute recurring administrative tasks to keep recruitment operations running smoothly, ensuring 100% data accuracy in all trackers and documentation. Candidate Experience: You will facilitate the candidate screening process, including CV longlisting and interview scheduling, and provide professional, timely communication to ensure every candidate has the best experience. ATS Management: You will maintain the candidate database (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring all applicant statuses are up to date and helping extract basic data for weekly reporting. Continuous Improvement: In collaboration with your manager, you will assist in identifying bottlenecks in the recruitment flow and support the rollout of new tools or process updates. Logistics/Coordination: You will manage the logistics for interview panels, ensuring all interviewers have the necessary materials and candidates are well-briefed. Contribute to ad-hoc projects and provide operational support to the Team as required.

Qualifications

For this role specifically, you will have:

Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field of study. 6 months to 1 year of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about the work we do at One Acre Fund for Smallholder Farmers. Familiarity with Google Workspace and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) is a plus. Basic data analysis skills - you can pick out patterns. Great learning skills, curious, and a knack for attention to detail. A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders. Proficiency in English is required.

Interns will be provided with a reasonable stipend for the duration of their contract. Rural area based fellows will be provided assistance in locating suitable housing.
