Job Summary

The Office Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and orderly environment in office spaces.
This role includes daily cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash bins, and cleaning restrooms, ensuring a safe and pleasant work environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish office floors and carpets.
Dust and wipe down desks, tables, shelves, windows, and office equipment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies (soap, tissue, etc.).
Empty trash bins and replace liners in all office areas.
Clean kitchen and break room areas including counters, appliances, and sinks.
Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored properly.
Notify management of any damage or required repairs.
Follow health and safety regulations and cleaning procedures.
Lock up and secure areas as needed after cleaning (where applicable).

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO / NCE / OND qualification.
Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor (preferred).
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Good physical condition and stamina.
Attention to detail and thoroughness.
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Trustworthy and reliable.

Work Environment:

Indoor office setting; may involve some bending, lifting, and extended periods on feet.
