 Job Title: Oil Production Manager

The Oil Production Manager is responsible for the efficient, safe and profitable operation of ORCAD Integrated Ltd’s palm oil and palm kernel oil processing activities. The role covers the complete production process—from the receipt and processing of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and palm kernels through the production, storage and dispatch of Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), palm kernel cake and other by-products. The Production Manager must deliver the required production volume and extraction rate while maintaining product quality, minimizing production costs and losses, supporting the acquisition of quality raw materials at competitive prices, controlling inventory and participating actively in sales and customer-order fulfilment.

Oversee the end-to-end extraction and milling processes for Palm Oil, Palm Kernel, Palm Cake and other By-products Manage factory floor workers, shift schedules, and machinery utilization to meet production targets. Ensure maximum oil extraction yield while minimizing waste and operational downtime. Monitor raw material inventory (Fresh Fruit Bunches and Palm Kernels) and coordinate supply logistics.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Production Management, Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. At least two years’ experience in a production-supervision or factory-management position. Relevant technical or professional training in palm oil or palm kernel processing is an advantage. Minimum of five years’ practical experience in palm oil, palm kernel oil, vegetable oil or a similar agro-processing operation. Demonstrated understanding of CPO and CPKO production processes, extraction-rate management and production-cost control. Practical experience in raw-material procurement, supplier management, inventory control or commercial operations is highly desirable. Experience in equipment commissioning, maintenance coordination and production expansion will be an advantage. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and production-reporting systems. Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and supervisory skills. Geographical Knowledge: Must know Ore, Odigbo, and Etikupupa very well to manage local logistics and supply networks.
