Job Title: Platform Engineer

Job Description
Build and operate secure, highly available infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
Administer, troubleshoot, secure, and optimise Linux production systems.
Build and operate Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
Automate infrastructure with Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
Build and improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
Develop reusable platform components, deployment templates, and self-service capabilities.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Troubleshoot application, networking, storage, and performance issues.
Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, backup, and disaster recovery.
Contribute to on-call rotation and support incident response.
Maintain platform documentation, standards, and runbooks for team-wide visibility.
Requirements3+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, Linux Systems Engineering, or a related role.
Strong hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, TLS, and load balancing.
Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or private/on-premise infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
Strong Bash, Python, Go, or similar scripting skills.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Loki, Datadog, or similar.
Understanding of availability, scalability, resilience, backup, and disaster recovery.
