 Job Title: Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of interior design projects from commencement to completion. The role will ensure that projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budget, quality standards, and client expectations. The successful candidate will coordinate the activities of the design team, artisans, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders while maintaining clear communication with clients and management. The role requires a hands-on, organized, and results-driven individual who can manage multiple activities, solve problems, and ensure that projects move forward as planned.

Responsibilities and Duties

Plan, coordinate, and monitor interior design projects from inception to completion. Coordinate designers, artisans, contractors, suppliers, and other project personnel to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain regular communication with clients, provide project updates, understand their requirements, and ensure concerns are properly addressed. Monitor project schedules, materials, costs, and resources to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budgets. Ensure that project work, materials, finishes, and installations meet the company's expected quality standards and approved designs. Coordinate with suppliers and procurement personnel to ensure materials and other project requirements are available when needed. Conduct regular site visits and monitor work progress, workmanship, safety, and adherence to approved designs and specifications. Maintain proper project records and provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, costs, and outstanding activities. Identify project risks, delays, or issues early and work with the relevant team members to resolve them promptly. Ensure projects are properly completed, inspected, snagged, and handed over to the client.

Experience / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, interior design, fit-out, or a similar environment. Experience managing interior design, renovation, fit-out, or construction projects will be an advantage. Good knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and site coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Organized and highly responsible. Practical and hands-on in managing projects. Strong in planning, coordination, and follow-up. Good at managing contractors, artisans, suppliers, and clients. Detail-oriented and committed to quality. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A good communicator and problem solver. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactive and willing to take ownership of projects. Honest, dependable, and committed to delivering results.
