Job Title: Project Officer

Contract: 2-year renewable contract Duties
Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of high-level meetings, workshops, conferences, stakeholder engagements, and other project-related events. Coordinate schedules, logistics, invitations, briefing materials, and meeting documentation to ensure seamless execution of activities. Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and action points, ensuring timely follow-up and completion. Assist in the preparation of project work plans, activity schedules, progress reports, and implementation updates. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, partners, consultants, and service providers, to facilitate effective project delivery. Support stakeholder relationship management by coordinating communications, follow-up actions, and engagement activities. Represent the organization professionally during meetings, engagements, and project-related events, as delegated. Prepare and maintain meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, concept notes, correspondence, and other project documentation. Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases for project information, reports, and stakeholder engagements. Support procurement processes, vendor coordination, and operational logistics required for project implementation. Assist in budget monitoring, expense tracking, and the documentation of project expenditures. Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and briefing materials arising from meetings, consultations, and project activities. Document decisions, resolutions, outcomes, and agreed action points, and ensure appropriate follow-up. Support the development and timely submission of project reports, communication materials, and other required documentation. Work on at least 2 EU-Horizon major projects. Perform any other project-related duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager.
Master’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences, International Relations, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
