Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Resident Engineer who will be responsible for providing on-site network monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and technical support to ensure optimal network performance and minimal downtime.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor network performance and resolve faults, latency, and service disruptions.
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, CPEs, and other network equipment.
Troubleshoot fiber, microwave, wired, and wireless networks.
Liaise with the NOC and client’s IT team to resolve technical issues.
Maintain network documentation, incident logs, and performance reports.
Requirements:B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
2–3 years’ experience in an ISP, telecom, or enterprise network environment.
Knowledge of FTTH/FTTX, MPLS, VLANs, BGP, routing, switching, and fiber optics.
CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or MikroTik certification is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
SalaryN160,000 – N200,000 per month + incentive.
