Job Title: Sales Merchandiser 

Location: Amichi, Anambra

Description

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser to support product visibility, availability, and brand presence at retail outlets.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining attractive product displays, monitoring stock levels, and assisting in the execution of in-store promotional activities.
• This role plays a critical part in ensuring consumer satisfaction and driving sell-through point of sale.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal visibility and appealing displays of Erisco Foods products in all assigned retail outlets in accordance with brand standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with store managers, supervisors, and retail staff to enhance cooperation and product positioning.
• Regularly monitor inventory levels on shelves and in back stock; coordinate with sales officers or distributors to ensure timely restocking and product availability.
• Gather and report customer feedback, buying behavior, and competitor activities to inform sales and marketing strategies.
• Assist in implementing in-store promotions, marketing campaigns, and other consumer engagement activities to boost product awareness and sales.
• Submit accurate daily activity reports covering stock status, display updates, customer feedback, and sales insights to supervisors and sales teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
• At least 1–2 years’ experience in merchandising, retail sales, or FMCG fieldwork.
• Good understanding of retail operations and customer behavior.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must reside in or around Amichi, Anambra State.
