Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, experienced, and result-driven Senior Store Officer to oversee inventory management and store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily store operations and ensure inventory accuracy is maintained above 97%.
Supervise and mentor store officers and support staff to ensure efficient store activities, stock counts, and reconciliations.
Monitor inventory movements, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Prepare and analyze inventory reports, providing recommendations to enhance stock management and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and audit standards.
Train, coach, and develop store personnel on best practices in inventory control and warehouse operations.
Optimize storage space utilization, manage store resources effectively, and minimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolete stock.
RequirementsHND or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics, preferably within the spare parts industry.
Proven experience in maintaining and improving inventory accuracy and control systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software, particularly Microsoft Navision.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
