We are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site and ensure projects are completed according to approved plans, quality standards, and timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor contractors, artisans, and other site workers.
Ensure construction work meets required quality and safety standards.
Interpret and implement architectural and engineering drawings.
Monitor materials used on-site and ensure proper utilisation.
Track project progress and provide regular site reports.
Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, contractors, consultants, and other project teams.
Ensure site activities comply with health and safety requirements.
Monitor project timelines and report delays or challenges promptly.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper documentation of activities.
RequirementsBachelor’s Degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/site supervision, preferably within real estate.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and site operations.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Good knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage site activities.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/construction software is an added advantage.
Must be willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
SalaryN300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
