Job Title: Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary
This role goes beyond scheduling posts. You will own strategy and execution across all active expressions, coordinate founder thought leadership, manage content calendars and newsletters, support lead generation, run approved campaigns, and provide performance reports. The role will also supervise and coordinate approved creative partners. You will capture and route marketing-qualified leads.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute a practical digital marketing strategy for each active expression. Keep the corporate, programme, and founder brands distinct while coordinating shared themes and campaigns. Ensure public content uses approved positioning, terminology, assets, and permissions.
Build and manage content calendars, briefs, copy, production schedules, approvals, and publishing. Plan and publish up to three posts per week for each active brand, based on approved priorities and capacity. Turn the organisation's expertise, events, programmes, and intellectual property into strong posts, newsletters, videos, and campaign content. Manage profiles, comments, messages, links, calls to action, and the approved asset library
Plan, write, build, and send newsletters per month. Clean and segment contact data for relevant, permission-aware outreach. Connect campaigns to landing pages, forms, WhatsApp, email, direct messages, or booking channels. Capture, log, and route every qualified enquiry to the agreed business owner.
Plan and execute approved organic and paid campaigns for programmes, webinars, events, products, and priority offers. Maintain a weekly performance dashboard and provide a concise monthly review with lessons and recommended changes. Use data to improve content, targeting, calls to action, conversion paths, and campaign efficiency. Supervise the intern and coordinate designers, editors, videographers, media support, and other contributors.
Who You Are
Think strategically and understand how digital marketing supports commercial growth. Write and edit confidently for senior executives, institutions, and professional audiences. Take ownership without waiting to be chased and can work with limited supervision. Are highly organised, precise, responsive, and able to manage several brands at once. Can execute directly while giving clear briefs and feedback to creative support. Use sound judgement around confidentiality, permissions, public claims, and brand reputation.
How Success Will Be Measured
Approved content published on schedule. Relevant audience growth and engagement quality. Newsletter delivery, engagement, and response. Campaign registrations, qualified enquiries, and conversion performance. Consistent brand accuracy, quality, and compliance.
Required Experience
BSC/HND in Marketing, Communications, or a related role. Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience managing social media for corporate or professional-service brands, with evidence of content execution, audience growth, engagement and lead generation Demonstrated experience owning strategy and execution across more than one brand, programme, or audience. Practical experience with email marketing, database segmentation, lead tracking, paid campaigns, and performance reporting. Working ability with social publishing tools, email platforms, spreadsheets, analytics, design tools, and basic short-form video workflows.
