Avocado Virtual Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Social Media & Content Creator to manage and grow the Founder’s personal brand across social media. The brand focuses on wellness, food, lifestyle, motherhood, personal development and the honest journey of building a business. The successful candidate will own the content workflow—from ideation and planning to editing, publishing, community management and performance tracking.

Develop and maintain the Founder’s content strategy, calendars and production schedules. Create content ideas based on the brand’s key pillars. Turn raw footage, ideas and briefs into engaging social media content. Create and edit high-quality Reels and short-form videos. Write strong hooks, scripts, captions and storytelling content. Design carousels, graphics and other visual assets. Create authentic content that reflects the Founder’s personality and business journey. Adapt content appropriately for each platform. Repurpose footage and ideas into multiple engaging pieces without repetition. Schedule and publish content accurately and on time. Research trends, audience conversations and content opportunities. Support campaigns, announcements, events and other important moments. Maintain an organised content library, production tracker and archive.

Instagram: 4 posts/week – Reels, carousels, photos and written/graphic content. TikTok: At least 1 post/day based on agreed content pillars. LinkedIn: 1 thoughtful founder-led post/week. Stories: As required. Content volume may increase during campaigns, launches, events and other key periods.

Monitor comments, mentions and DMs during agreed working hours. Respond according to the approved brand voice and customer-service guidelines. Escalate sensitive, legal, reputational or customer-service matters to the Founder. Maintain confidentiality around personal footage, business plans, campaigns and unreleased products. Monitor reach, views, audience growth, watch time, retention, engagement, saves, shares, profile visits and link clicks. Prepare a concise monthly report highlighting performance, learnings and recommended improvements.

Proven experience creating and managing social media content. Strong short-form video editing skills beyond basic templates Strong graphic design, typography and visual-layout skills. Excellent written English and creative writing ability. Strong understanding of hooks, storytelling, retention and CTAs. Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn. Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools. Ability to communicate a personal brand authentically and consistently. Strong organisation, reliability, attention to detail and deadline management. Ability to work independently and respond well to feedback. Reliable internet and suitable equipment for remote work. Portfolio demonstrating video editing, graphic design and creative writing.
