The Store Officer will support the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, verification, shelving, picking, packing, inventory documentation and stock reconciliation. The role is responsible for ensuring that supplies received into the warehouse are properly verified, documented and stored, while items released from the warehouse are accurately picked, verified and prepared for dispatch. The Store Officer will work closely with the Procurement, Inventory, Logistics and Business Unit teams to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the smooth movement of supplies.

Receive, inspect and verify incoming pharmaceutical products, medical consumables and other supplies against relevant documentation. Sort, label and store products appropriately while maintaining proper warehouse organization and FEFO principles. Pick, verify, pack and prepare approved orders for dispatch. Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock counts, reconciliations and stock movement tracking. Update receipts, stock movements and other warehouse transactions on the ERP/inventory system. Maintain proper documentation for inbound, outbound, transfer, return and stock transactions. Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged, expired, short-dated or non-conforming products. Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, inventory controls, quality and safety requirements. Monitor pending orders and support the timely movement of supplies from picking through dispatch. Work closely with Procurement, Inventory, Logistics and Business Unit teams to resolve warehouse and order fulfilment issues. Support warehouse audits, stock transfers, reorganizations and other operational activities. Maintain a clean, safe, organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy, Inventory Management or a related discipline. 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, stores, inventory or supply chain operations. Experience in inventory management and warehouse processes. Experience using an ERP or inventory management system is an advantage. Good understanding of stock control, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch processes. Experience working with pharmaceutical products or medical consumables is an added advantage.

Ability to identify discrepancies and control risks. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow SOPs and established procedures. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems. High level of integrity and accountability. Proactive approach to identifying and escalating operational issues. Ability to work collaboratively with Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, Finance and Business Unit teams.
