 Job Title: Team Lead - Marketing

Location: Apapa, Lagos Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, target-driven, and results-oriented Team Lead to coordinate a team of marketers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, promoting the company’s loan products, monitoring team performance, and ensuring sales targets are consistently achieved. The desired candidate must have experience in sales, marketing, loan services, microfinance, banking, or a related role, with proven team leadership experience.

Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of marketers to achieve assigned targets. Develop and implement effective marketing and customer acquisition strategies. Promote and market the company’s loan products to prospective customers. Identify new business opportunities and support the team in generating quality leads. Monitor team performance, sales activities, and customer acquisition results. Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for team members and track progress. Train and coach team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement. Follow up on leads and support team members in converting prospects into customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Ensure proper documentation and accurate records of customer and sales activities. Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance and marketing activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and professional standards.

Candidates should possess an HND/BSC in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, loan services, microfinance, or banking. Previous experience supervising or leading a sales/marketing team. Proven ability to achieve sales and customer acquisition targets. Excellent leadership, communication, persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer relationship management skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and manage team members effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Must be proactive, confident, disciplined, and target-oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to participate in field marketing and customer acquisition activities. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
