Job Title: Upholsterer / Upholstery Specialist

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer to handle the upholstery finishing on our furniture; sofas, chairs, headboards, and other soft-furnishing pieces to a consistently high standard.
This is a specialist production role reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.
Key ResponsibilitiesCut, fit, and fix fabric, foam, leather, and other upholstery materials to furniture frames
Interpret designs and customer specifications accurately, including measurements and fabric choices
Ensure a neat, durable, professional finish on every piece
Estimate and manage material usage to reduce waste
Carry out repairs and re-upholstery on existing furniture where required
Maintain upholstery tools and equipment in good working condition
Flag any material shortage, defect, or quality concern to the Workshop Supervisor immediately.
RequirementsTrade certification or apprenticeship training in Upholstery
Minimum of 3 years' hands-on upholstery experience, ideally in a furniture production or interior design setting
Strong eye for detail, finish, and fabric handling
Skilled with upholstery tools (staple guns, sewing machines, cutting tools, etc.)
Ability to work independently and meet delivery timelines
A portfolio of past work is an advantage.
SalaryN180,000 - N200,000 / month.
