About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales activities and drive revenue growth within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the haircare or beauty industry, strong sales leadership skills, and the ability to manage sales representatives, distributors and retail channels to achieve business targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
Supervise, motivate and manage sales representatives to improve productivity and performance.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, salons and other key customers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage for the company's haircare products.
Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
Ensure effective product distribution, availability and visibility across assigned outlets.
Conduct regular market visits to assess sales activities and identify growth opportunities.
RequirementsB.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in the haircare, cosmetics, beauty or personal care industry.
Previous experience managing a sales territory, sales team or distribution network is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of distributor management, retail sales and market expansion.
Proven ability to meet sales targets and grow revenue.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
