We are seeking an experienced and creative Bartender / Mixologist to manage bar operations and deliver an exceptional beverage experience to guests. The ideal candidate will combine excellent bartending skills with creativity in mixology, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, hygiene, and beverage quality. This is an independent role requiring the successful candidate to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the bar with minimal supervision.

Bar Operations: Take full ownership of daily bar operations, ensuring the main bar, service bar, lounge counters, and back-bar displays are clean, organised, and maintained to premium presentation standards. Beverage Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of intercontinental beverages, including classic cocktails, mixed drinks, beers, wines, champagnes, and non-alcoholic drinks, with speed, precision, and consistency. Cocktail Development: Create and develop original signature cocktails and seasonal drink menus by experimenting with flavours, ingredients, and presentation to enhance the guest experience. Preparation of Bar Ingredients: Prepare and maintain house-made syrups, infusions, bitters, fresh juices, and specialty garnishes while ensuring consistency in quality and taste. Recipe Documentation: Maintain documented recipes for all drinks created to ensure consistency in flavour, measurements, presentation, and portion sizes. Quality Control: Adhere strictly to approved beverage recipes, portion controls, glassware specifications, and established service standards. Guest Relations: Welcome guests warmly, take orders accurately, explain beverage options, and recommend drinks based on individual preferences and tastes. Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain bar equipment, including ice machines, blenders, draft beer lines, wine preservation systems, and point-of-sale (POS) terminals, in line with established safety procedures. Glassware and Hygiene: Wash, sanitise, and hand-polish glassware and bar tools, ensuring they are spotless, streak-free, and free from chips or defects before use. Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the bar area and ensure proper handling and storage of beverages and bar supplies.

Proven experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or upscale bar. Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, champagnes, and non-alcoholic beverages. Demonstrated creativity and practical experience in developing signature cocktails and innovative beverage menus. Ability to work independently and manage daily bar operations with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and calmly in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, presentation, and consistency in beverage preparation. Good organisational skills, including the ability to maintain bar supplies, equipment, and accurate drink recipes.
