Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facility Engineerto oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of a supermarket facility and its equipment.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day maintenance of the store branchesincluding electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, generator, and other facility systems.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and operational downtime.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor power supply, generators, water systems, air conditioning, refrigeration, and other essential facilities.
Ensure the supermarket environment is safe, functional, and comfortable for customers and staff.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, faults, and service schedules.
Respond promptly to facility emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
Ensure contractors and maintenance personnel deliver quality work.
Qualifications & Requirements
B.Sc./HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related engineering/technical field.
3–4 years’ experience in Facility Management/Maintenance or a similar capacity.
Experience in a supermarket, retail store, commercial facility, shopping mall, or similar environmentis highly preferred.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, Chillers, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, generators, and general building maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and preventive maintenance skills.
Good communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
Must be able to manage technicians, contractors, and maintenance vendors effectively.
Must reside within Alimosho or nearby environs such as ikotun, Egbeda, iyana ipaja, abule egba, Dopemu, ayobo and it's environs.
Must be willing and available to resume on october 1st 2026.
