About the role
A prestigious financial technology and digital gaming organisation is seeking an experienced Internal Control Manager to strengthen its governance framework, safeguard company assets and ensure effective financial and operational controls.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement internal control policies, procedures and risk-control matrices.
Conduct risk-based control testing and identify control weaknesses.
Monitor reconciliations, payment processes, expenses and transaction controls.
Ensure compliance with approval limits and segregation of duties.
Track corrective actions and prepare control reports for Management.
Support audits and recommend process improvements.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
ICAN, ACCA or ANAN qualification; CIA, CISA or CRMA is an advantage.
6–8 years' relevant experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, COSO, Excel and risk assessment.
Experience in fintech, banking, payments or gaming is preferred.
SalaryN1,200,000 - N1,500,000 per month.
