Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee procurement, inventory management, distribution, and online store operations across our pharmacy outlets.
The successful candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, regulatory compliance, optimal stock availability, and efficient fulfilment of online orders.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop procurement strategies and negotiate competitive pricing and favourable supplier terms.
Manage supplier relationships, evaluate vendor performance, and ensure product quality.
Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and minimize stockouts, overstocking, and expiry losses.
Coordinate stock distribution and inter-branch transfers across all outlets.
Oversee online store operations, including product listings, pricing, stock availability, order processing, and delivery fulfilment.
Coordinate with logistics, sales, finance, and branch teams to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable PCN, NAFDAC, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
Monitor procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare periodic management reports.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or PharmD).
3–5 years’ relevant experience in procurement, preferably in retail pharmacy, healthcare.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian pharmaceutical regulations, including PCN and NAFDAC requirements.
Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and inventory control skills.
Experience with ERP systems, inventory software, and online store management.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
